1. Can you suggest me a good ranger pvp and pve build. Note that I only have prophecies so far.

2. Zaishen mission.
I don't got it. I mean it's impossible. And what if I win?

3. How can I make cash with a pvp-only char?

4. I still have the melandrus stalker pet. It's lvl 11. Shall I take another?

1) Check out the ranger forums on this forum for build advice.

2) I don't really understand the question. http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zaishen_Challenge_Quest Z-missions are daily missions that change every day, to repeat content from all 4 games. Hopefully that link explains things. Obviously, you can't do missions that are for games you do not own. PvP only characters can't do PvE missions.

3) There is only 1 way to make money with a PvP character. That is to use bathazar faction to get zaishain keys and then sell those keys at 4-5k to a player. Money is supposed to be a thing that matters only in PvE. As a new player, I would suggest you NOT do this. Your bathazar faction is better spent unlocking skills.

4) You can drop off your pet at certain NPC animal trainers or at the z-managerie and go get a new one. All pets have identical (for practical purposes) and just look different. You can get a lvl 20 pet wolf automatically on PvP only characters by just equipping charm animal.

Actually, pets are not exactly identical, though almost: some pets deal slashing damage, while other piercing (depends on what pet and what evolution), also the black bear have slower attack rate.

Correction to 3) You can go to Hall of Heroes and if you win you get to open the chest. :P That is the only way to get a Miniature Ghostly Hero, which sells for 1,500e~

But to win in the Hall of heroes you likely need access to skills from all the campaigns, a lot of pvp experience and a good team. And a lot of luck to pull out a ghosty and not something like a golden flame of balthazar.

2) I guess you're talking about the one where you have to fight the teams of NPCs? If so, make your own team using heroes and henchmen or other players and beat them up. If you win against 5 different teams you will unlock the Zaishen Elite.

3) Hold Halls, or play in Automated Tournaments with your guild and use the Tournament Reward points you get from those to buy Zaishen Keys from Tolkano and sell them to other players (You can also buy Zaishen Keys from Tolkano using balthazar faction; this will cost you 5k balthazar faction for every key).

4) Don't use a pet, unless you are playing IWAY or a Bunny Thumper.

You can use it to register your guild in Automated Tournaments.

Why? As has been said, there's not a whole lot of difference between pets.

Btw (since you said "another" instead of "a different") - you can only have one active pet at a time. If you decide to change pets, put the Melandru's Stalker in the Menagerie first, in case you want one again.
